The key to enduring adversity triumphantly is to see it for the sake of Christ.
In part six of this seven-sermon series, Dr. Charles Stanley shows that Paul’s adversity was a gift from God with a divine purpose. God never sends times of adversity into our lives to hurt us but always to help us. Paul learned that he was never alone in his adversity, and so must we. God will comfort us when necessary.
Paul also discovered that God’s power reaches its peak at the lowest moments of suffering and trial. His power is perfected in our weakness. The spiritual blessings we receive from adversity will always overshadow the pain and suffering we feel in the moment.
This message is part of the series "Advancing Through Adversity."
