Long after after God cut a covenant with Abraham, He made a new covenant that is extended to anyone who comes to Jesus Christ in faith. The night before His crucifixion, Jesus said to His disciples, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood” (Luke 22:20).
Dr. Stanley explains how God’s new covenant was set in motion when Christ shed His own blood to cleanse us from sin. This covenant holds the promise of eternal life for all those who have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
When we publicly share in the Lord’s Supper, we are doing so in remembrance of Christ’s perfect sacrifice.
Spending of funds is confined to board approved programs and projects. Each restricted contribution designated towards a board approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the board, the remaining restricted contributions designated for such program or project will be used where needed most.
