The President of the United States has a big job. That person has to make many difficult decisions, and those choices affect billions of people in the country and around the globe. This position of authority also comes with great accountability to both the nation’s citizens and, more importantly, to God.
In this message, Dr. Stanley tells us how to pray specifically for the President of the United States. We know the Bible teaches that a nation will experience blessing or bareness in accordance with its ruler’s actions, so it is imperative that we humble ourselves before the Lord as godly citizens. Thankfully, He longs to receive our prayers and respond according to His will. We can have perfect peace knowing that our sovereign God remains in control of it all—no matter what happens during a presidency.
Spending of funds is confined to board approved programs and projects. Each restricted contribution designated towards a board approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the board, the remaining restricted contributions designated for such program or project will be used where needed most.
