We describe sin harshly as missing the mark, darkness, selfish, death, and rebellion. So why do we often express a careless attitude when we encounter it face to face?

In this message, Dr. Stanley addresses the fallacy of the idea that a little bit of sin equals a little bit of grace, more sin means more grace, and terrible sin produces great grace. God does grade our sins according to some cosmic scale. Regardless of how we weigh our sins, it’s all rebellion against the law of God. His grace is needed no matter the “size” of our actions.

Dr. Stanley teaches that, for the Christian, sin is out of character, will enslave us, and destroy everything we hold dear. It has no place in our lives, and God won’t tolerate it. If you willingly violate what you know to be right and true, God’s chastising hand will come down on you—which is never a pleasant experience.

If you've tolerated, rationalized, reasoned, and made provision for sin, then it’s time you take a fresh look. Sin is rebellion against the good and perfect laws of God and will ultimate enslave and destroy you. God wants so much more for you. Don’t let a careless attitude towards sin keep you from living the greatest life He has planned for you.
