Description
People talk a lot about “rights” today, revealing a spirit of independence that doesn’t appear in the Bible. In fact, the Word of God encourages cooperation and dependence upon one another. Instead, we want to be rulers of ourselves, which is the root of our sin nature.
In this message, Dr. Stanley says that the ultimate question we have to ask ourselves in regards to sin is, “who is our boss?” Do we want to control our lives or surrender to the One who is truly sovereign and recognize His position of authority?
Sin comes from our desire to act independently of God. If we are going to have a healthy relationship with Him, we must accept His leadership and direction. Discover the consequences of ignoring the Lord’s guidance and the blessings of walking in His will.
