Description
Prayer should be a priority for every servant of God. It is life’s greatest time-saver and is essential to a ministry leader’s personal life, leadership, teaching, and relationships. If we don’t spend time on our knees before the Lord, we will find our ministries fail to have a lasting impact for the kingdom of God.
In this message, Dr. Stanley talks about the role prayer plays in the ministry leader’s proclamation of the Word of God especially:
In the Preparation—The place God opens for you to proclaim the His Word will be partially determined by the degree to which you prepare yourself to preach it.
During the Delivery—It’s nothing but paper and ink unless the Spirit of God raises it up.
After the Proclamation—We should pray God would get all the glory.
Do you just want to make an impression, or do you want to have an impact? Our messages ought to be the expression of what God has been doing in our lives all week long. Prayer insures your preaching will be faithful, fruitful, fearless, and fervent.
