Troubled relationships. Financial struggles. A health crisis. These types of stressors can bring us to a point of desperate prayer. The last time someone asked you to lift their needs to the Lord, did you remember to do so? Have you trusted another with your requests as well?
One of the most powerful and influential acts we can accomplish for someone else is to intercede on their behalf in God’s presence. But sometimes we make giving and receiving prayer requests a casual exchange. In this message, Dr. Stanley helps us give the ministry of intercession its proper respect.
As you learn the blessings and responsibilities of praying for those God gives you a burden for, you will begin to bring petitions to Him with increasing confidence and faith. And your love for the Father–and all His children–will grow.
