Description
During these troubled times, it’s only natural to seek proper guidance and comfort. When we approach the Father of compassion, He will reveal how we should respond to natural, intentional and personal tragedies and how we can deal with others and ourselves in the midst of it all.
In this sermon, Dr. Stanley offers a systematic approach for responding to tragedy by:
- Expressing our compassion and love.
- Exercising our courage to face the dangers that confront us with confidence and faith in God.
- Executing our God-given responsibilities to bring justice to those who seek to harm us and destroy our freedom.
- Attempting to discover the good that can come from distressful situations.
- Inquiring of our heavenly Father as to why He has allowed this to happen.
Even when we’re afraid or don’t fully understand, He asks us to trust Him. It’s the purpose of God to bring good out of every single situation for His children.
