Description
Noah lived in a very dark time. Man’s sin was so deep and extensive that God decided to judge mankind. However, He spared Noah because of the servant’s righteousness, instructing him to build an ark to protect his family from the destruction of the coming flood.
In this message, Dr. Stanley talks about the boldness Noah needed in order to obey God during this godless time and complete such a daunting task. He shares how Noah’s courage was based on the:
- Absolute assurance that he had heard from God.
- Awareness of God’s presence with him.
- Clarity of God’s instructions to him.
- Experience of God’s strength in him.
- Warning of God’s coming judgment.
- Favor of God that overshadowed him.
- Intimate relationship he had with God.
- Promise of God regarding his future.
The Lord can do the same thing for you that He did for Noah. It’ll take courage—to walk away from what God doesn’t want for your life; to give what He wants you to give; or to surrender what He wants you to surrender. However, you’ll never regret trusting in God, who loves you absolutely and completely.
