Description
Once we become Christians, we have a responsibility to share the truth of salvation with others. But oftentimes, we are not bold in sharing our faith because we have questions and doubts about exactly what the gospel is.
The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ and His offer of salvation through His death, burial and resurrection. It is not a message of works, but of salvation by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8-9).
In this sermon, Dr. Stanley explains salvation and how, through it, we are redeemed, forgiven, justified, reconciled, sanctified, and eventually glorified. He also tells us how we can share this with others.
We have good news to share with people, and if we love others as Christ does, we should feel compelled to share it and tell them how Christ has worked in our lives and how He can meet their needs as well.
This is what the Great Commission is all about—spreading the gospel from one end of the earth to the other until the day of Christ’s return. Are you doing your part? Learn to be bold and confident in your saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
