Why is it so hard for Christians to find the peace and joy God promises? One of the reasons believers remain defeated is because of Satan. Although he is limited by God’s sovereignty, his goal is to work through government, society, and culture to oppose the desires and plans of the Lord.

Satan wants to see God’s people living like those of the world—dependent on their own abilities and resistant to the Father’s will. Since he has already lost the opportunity to possess our souls, he seeks to destroy our testimony, reputation, and witness. Failing that, he will attempt to render us ineffective servants of the living God by distracting, discouraging, or destroying us. In this message, you will learn more about the strategies of Satan so you can be more successful at resisting them.
