Is there some divine purpose in the adversity with which we are suffering?
In part four of this seven-sermon series, Dr. Charles Stanley considers Paul’s attitude toward adversity: He is able to rejoice in his struggles. He even boasts about his weakness because it is in that weakness that the power of Christ within him is displayed.
Rather than wasting our seasons of adversity, God wants us to squeeze as much spiritual growth out of them as possible. He also wants us to remember the consequences of our past mistakes as a warning and protection for the future.
When our first priority is to seek the Lord, He will put everything else in its proper order.
This message is part of the series "Advancing Through Adversity."
