Description
There are many who call themselves Christians because they’re church members. Whether they’re Baptist, Episcopalian, Methodist, or some other denomination, they base their spiritual life on something other than a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
In this message, Dr. Stanley begins a study of Ephesians by focusing on what it means to be “in Christ.” A meaningful expression of our relationship to Jesus, this phrase not only describes our position as adopted sons and daughters of God, but it also reminds us that Jesus is the Source of all our possessions. Our spiritual identity isn’t based on what we have in this world, but what we have in Him.
This sermon is part of the series “Discovering Our True Identity.”
