In this message, Dr. Stanley shares four characteristics of Satan’s power that put his authority in perspective.
Satan’s power is:
- Permitted. Satan did not steal authority from God; he has been granted a limited amount of supernatural power. - Limited. The devil must have the Father’s permission to harass us.- Resisted.Satan’s power is opposed through Christ’s prayers for believers, our prayers for ourselves, and our intercession for others. - Broken. At the cross, Jesus broke the power of sin over humanity. This means believers are no longer controlled by evil; we can always choose to fight temptation.
Although Satan is a powerful created being, his authority has limits. This message will encourage you to resist the devil with confidence through your authority in Jesus Christ.
