Description
“Can a man take fire in his bosom and his clothes not be burned?” (Prov. 6:27). It’s clear that toying with the temptation of sexual indulgence will harm us sooner or later. But oftentimes, we rationalize, justify, and walk a fine line right into a bad situation.
In this message, Dr. Stanley examines the story of Samson and Delilah and how seemingly small indulgences led to his eventual destruction. Like him, we too can move from reasonable actions, to questionable ones, to definitely wrong decisions.
Rebellion and sexual sin go hand in hand. When we play around with this kind of temptation, there will come a time when we think we can still get up and walk away. But the truth is, we won’t be able to stand. Don’t get yourself into a situation you’ll regret later. Learn to stay off the slippery slope of sexual indulgences.
